If you'd like to see the origianl label, you can look here: http://recordplayer78.blogspot.de/2012/01/orchestermusik-der-fruhklassik-berlin.html

There are also Sets No. 7 and 26 in this posting. The Reger Balett suite (Set No. 18) can be found in another posting here: http://recordplayer78.blogspot.de/2012/04/eduard-van-beinum-conducts-max-reger.html

These were all very good recordings, which were limited in circulation because of the war. After the war the DGG sometimes took elder recordings and published them again. I didn' know that these were also imported and that there were special sets for foreign countries. I think it is very good that by this way we collectors work together internationally and put together our informations!

I am also looking forward to listen to other sets from this series, so keep on publishing! Especially the early recordings of the preclassical composers are quite fascinating to me.Emiliohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16020912982888929199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6631827761986497493.post-58304224064533646692013-05-25T09:34:29.630-04:002013-05-25T09:34:29.630-04:00Hey Bill, would be delighted to hear the Wagenseil...Hey Bill, would be delighted to hear the Wagenseil symphony - thanks!Bryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00501152469280142504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6631827761986497493.post-21242834650561715112013-05-24T18:24:23.882-04:002013-05-24T18:24:23.882-04:00Hi Bryan - thanks for these unusual DGG items and ...Hi Bryan - thanks for these unusual DGG items and research on the 'London' albums.
